BENEFITS

What are the benefits of a personal colour analysis?

A personal colour analysis is yours for lifetime. Get it done once and keep the knowledge forever.

Colours that truly suit you

The most important benefit of a personal colour analysis is to determine the colours that truly bring out your natural beauty. If you feel like you're looking drab most of the time, your wardrobe could be to blame.

Wardrobe Ease

A personal colour analysis identifies your best (and worst) colours. With this knowledge in hand, you can create a coherent colour palette for your wardrobe and outfits. And this means you will be able to mix and match all of your clothes easily.

Hair & Make-up perfection

Your wardrobe is not the only place where colours matter. There is only so much your clothes can do for you if your hair and make-up are off. A personal colour analysis will also help you determine your best hair and make-up colours.

Process

How does it work?

the concept wardrobe offers an online colour analysis. This is a much simpler, quicker, and more affordable process of determining your best colours with the same results as an in-person analysis. Except, you don't need an appointment and sacrifice several hours of your precious time.
Purchase your personal colour analysis through this website. You can choose between a basic analysis and a premium analysis. Once purchased, you will receive an email confirmation that I have received your order.
Next, please take 4 to 5 high-resolution, close-up photos of yourself and email them to colourservices@theconceptwardrobe.com. To ensure that the colours on the photos are not distorted, please follow the photo submission guidelines.
Once I have received your photos, I will take time to analyse them. I do this by first analysing your natural colouring and then comparing it to various colour scales and palettes to determine your best match.
You will receive an email with your colour season, your colour palette, (and your best hair colours) within 5 to 7 working days (of submitting the photos).

Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequent questions and answers

I don't live in the UK, can I still order a colour analysis?

Yes! This is an online colour analysis, where I analyse photos of you. It's quicker and simpler than an in-person analysis, but the results are the same.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your purchase via a debit or credit card or with your Paypal account. I also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What if I am unhappy with my colours?

My goal is to improve your wardrobe, so I will do my utmost best to make sure I recommend the colours that really suit you. Should you, however, not be satisfied with your result, I will do my best to remedy the situation. Since this a service where I spent my time on you, I hope you will understand that I cannot offer any refunds. But I'm more than happy to discuss the reasons for your dissatisfaction with you and find a way to fix it.

What is seasonal colour analysis?

Seasonal colour analysis determines your best colours by matching you to one of twelve colour seasons based on your natural colouring. Please refer to my in-depth article on seasonal colour analysis if you want to learn more about the theory behind the practice.

Do I pay for the services upfront or later?

The services are paid for upfront. I will start working on your analysis once I have received your payment and your photos. There is no deadline for sending your photos. Your order will remain open until I receive them.

Will I receive a physical colour palette?

The colour palette I provide to you together with your result is a digital pdf file. It contains your seasonal colours (tagged as neutral, complementary & accent colours, and metals) which are colour-matched to the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors Cotton standard. The palette also includes a number of harmonious sample colour combinations, which you can use as inspiration for your outfits.

Simplified my life

July 8, 2020

I decided to enlist Nicole’s services (Concept Wardrobe) because I wanted to simplify my life. I was tired of purchasing the wrong make up (Why can’t I find the correct bronzer?) and I wanted to streamline my choices in makeup as well as my clothes.

Nicole’s evaluation of my color season surprised me but the more I studied her analysis the more   her conclusion made sense to me. Color theory is a complicated subject and I found it was very helpful to have someone simplify it for me.

Really helpful

July 6, 2020

Nicole's advice is really helpful and the colour chart makes life much easier. It is really well organised, and her suggestions about hair colour are great. I found the whole thing really illuminating, because while i do wear both gold and silver, but look a bit better in gold, I thought that I have tended to dress in colours that were a bit bright and, often, too light or dark for me. Knowing that white is not good for most people was a real surprise - but immensely helpful, once I'd digested the new, and having died most of my white tops different colours now, it really is true: the idea that white is a great all-purpose colour is a mistake. Also for black. I'd slowly been realising that brown looked better on me...now I know why, but also that there are purples that will look good too and greens....and shades of blue I had never expected to suit me and simply never tried. So, in the end, for one hundred and fifty dollars, I feel that I have the advice I needed to enjoy living in colour (something I've always loved), but with a better sense of which ones will suit me, and not simply appeal to my love of red, orange and golden yellow!

I'm grateful

June 27, 2020

I'm grateful for the direction I received through Nicole's digital analysis. I had tried many online season type tests in the past, all with varied results. It's great to not have to speculate anymore, and I can move forward now with my color scheme (soft autumn) and expanding my wardrobe!

Photo Submission Guidelines

In order to ensure that your colour analysis is as accurate as possible, please follow these guidelines when you are submitting photos:

  • Please submit clear, high-resolution photos of your face and neck facing the camera (high quality phone camera is fine).
  • Please do not wear any make-up in the photos. This may distort your results.
  • Please wear a neutral top (not white or black). Avoid tops that cover your neck.
  • Take the photos in front of an uncluttered and clean background. Avoid overly bright, warm, or cool backgrounds.
  • Take the photos in natural lighting. The best lighting can be found outside on an overcast day.
  • If you have coloured your hair, please take an additional photo with your hair tied back. In addition, please let me know what your natural hair colour was when you are submitting your photos.
