I. The Planning

Planning your wardrobe

01

Analyse your lifestyle & environment

This step is about analysing what kind of clothes you will need all year round and determining what fits your lifestyle.

02

Determine your body shape(s)

The eye likes balance. So here we will discuss what types of clothing can help you balance out your silhouette.

03

Choose your fashion style(s)

In this step, we will explore your personal fashion style a little bit more, and how you can develop your own signature style.

04

Create a colour palette

To develop a proper concept for your wardrobe, you will need a personal colour palette to ensure that all of your clothes mix and match well.

05

Select the fabrics

If you have never considered what your clothes are made of, this is the time to find out.

06

Add patterns & prints

Planning out which patterns and/or prints you will incorporate into your wardrobe is important to ensure that they fit in well with the rest of your wardrobe.

07

Compile the basics

In this step, we will build the core of your wardrobe - your all-year round basics. These are the items you will reach for the most.

08

Add the extras

Here, we will add garments that you need for your "occasions". Not your everyday clothes, but you will need some of these.

09

Select the shoes

Even though they are at the bottom of an outfit, shoes are an important part of your overall appearance. So don't neglect this step.

10

Add accessories

Just like clothes, accessories can be strategically used to balance out your silhouette - the most important item being your handbag.

11

Add seasonal items

Lastly, we need to add seasonal clothing to your wardrobe. These are items that will be swapped out and put into storage for next year once they are no longer needed.
